this one.. is the BlackBerry theme i purchased (at S$3.75) for my BlackBerry 9780..
and i love it!!
1. my wallpaper is the picture inside the polaroid photo at the middle of the table..
2. the cup of coffee on the upper right side of the table represents the battery life.. so when battery is full, the cup of coffee will be full.. vice versa, when the battery is empty.. the cup of coffee will be empty as well..

this is.. so far.. (not exaggerating) the best blackberry theme i have ever downloaded.. free or purchased..

and because of this theme.. now i think i like my BlackBerry 9780 more than my BlackBerry 9900.. hahaha

Yesterday (Tue 24 Apr 12) was officially the fourth week of my tongue piercing..
And now I've healed!!
yay!!

LOL
The first week was the worst..
I can't even begin to explain it..
Difficulty in talking, eating, and brushing teeth.. Not to mention the most painful pain ever when I just woke up.. (Ok, the most painful pain ever part is probably me exaggerating it, but it was very painful, ok?!)

Seriously, for the first week, I ate nothing but porridge, yogurt, mashed potato, and some other soft foods (and still experience pain while eating it)..
Then the talking, talking was rather difficult, but at least I still could get people to understand what I was talking..
Especially because the tongue barbell was so long inside my mouth (2 cms), it was rather difficult to keep it in place so that I wouldn't accidentally irritate it.

One week after that (3 Apr 12), I changed to a much shorter tongue barbell (1.6 cms)..
I felt much much much better after that.. Talking and eating and brushing teeth were easier (though I still had some difficulties)..

Two weeks after that (17 Apr 12), I couldn't take it anymore.. Even though some people stayed with 1.6 cms barbell because it's comfortable enough (length-wise) and it leaves some length so that people can play with the piercing..
No.. I was way too scared to play violently with it.. I don't mind not playing with my tongue piercing, the fact that the piercing is there is good enough for me..

So, I went and changed to a shorter barbell (1.4 cms).. And life has been wonderful ever since..

Yesterday, I celebrated my tongue piercing four week anniversary by eating fried chicken at popeyes with my very very good and wonderful friend Zann, who accompanied me to pierce my tongue at the first place..

So happy!!

I;ve always wanted to pierce my tongue.. But so far, my fear had always overcome my desire.. But now.. I've done it!!

Sometimes I can't help but play with it a little bit, but not violently of course.. I'm way too timid to play with it violently..

Anyway, i'm happy.. hehehehehehehe

This is very long overdue (due to the fact that I have been lazy to upload'em and frankly, I've given up on hopes that I'll blog frequently, in fact, the only reason I'm blogging about this right now is because (firstly) I don't want the gap between each and my every post to be too far (date-wise) and (secondly) I just happen to be uploading the same pictures to my Facebook). So, two birds with a stone, eh? LOL

I did my nails before Chinese New Year 2012. Please, have a look. LOL

I had my tongue pierced last night! (yay! i finally did it)
Straight away after Alicia Goh's audit. LOL

For weeks I'd been telling myself that, if Darren Tan & Alicia Goh's audit went well, that'd be God's sign that I'd do okay piercing my tongue.

So, abiding God's blessing (hahaha...), I went yesterday (accompanied by my good friend Quek Yan Shan Zann and her boyfriend) to have my tongue pierced.

I did it at this place called:

According to Zann, that place was supposed to be a very good and safe place for tongue piercing.

Sanice, the lady who pierced my tongue, said that a lot of people had their tongue pierced without using the numbing spray. Well, obviously I didn't care about what other people did, I requested as much numbing spray as possible.

Well, the tongue piercing didn't really hurt. I certainly felt the needle sticking inside of my tongue and coming out the other end, though.

After that, Zann and her bf brought me to McDonald's to eat an ice cream cone (but served in a cup). The ice cream would supposedly help sooth my about-to-swell tongue.

I went home by cab. And after that, I slept (without having that much pain at all, but that's probably because the effect of the numbing spray hadn't worn off yet).

------THE NEXT DAY------

Well, I woke up this morning with a stinging sensation in my tongue (irritating).

I didn't have a lot of food in my house, and I thought of eating noodle soup. Zann said that if it's a first time and one is not used to tongue piercing yet, the noodle might get stuck in the barbell.

Well, I didn't really have a lot of choices, so I crushed the noodle before cooking and eating it. However, even though crushed, some noodle still got stuck in the barbell.

Lunch was horrible! I bought a pack of breads, I ate two pieces without toasting and putting jams on them.
OMG, the chewing and the swallowing was really difficult and rather painful.

At night, I didn't have any more food to eat, the only choice left was some apples I had in my fridge. I got hungry during dinner, so, having no choice, I cut one apple in really really small pieces and tried to chew and eat the apple slices slowly. Painful as well.

And now, I don't know why at all, my tongue hurts (or maybe more like sore). And my jaw is also hurting right now because I keep positioning my tongue in a way that my jaw was stretched in a funny position for quite long.

I even used some ice to try to soothe my hurting tongue!

The whole experience sucks!!
I thought the longer I endure, the better I'd feel. But how is it that my tongue hurts more now compared to last night and this afternoon?!

This is driving me crazy! I hope I'd recover soon! I hope tomorrow will be a better day.

I exercised today! haha!
Well, I was on treadmill just now when my iPhone songs shuffled to play Give It a Go by Timbaland feat. Veronica.

I already liked this song since the first time I heard it when I watched Real Steel, but it was only because the song was cool.. and hip.. haha..

Then today I suddenly paid attention to the lyrics and the lyrics figuratively blew my mind. The lyrics really reflected my situation right now.. haha..
