Yesterday (Tuesday, 22 March 2011), Yuliana and I went to watch Gnomeo and Juliet at Golden Village Great World City.

I really liked the movie anyway, it's nice. But for me, Juliet could should have been prettier.

Hmm.. Anyway, after that we had our lunch at Pepper Lunch:

Well, truthfully, I haven't tried all of Pepper Lunch's dishes, so saying Beef Pepper Rice is the tasties is probably not objective or not representative (or whatever).

But it's really very nice!

I shared the Beef Pepper Rice with Yuliana, so we ordered:
-add egg
-add cheese
-upsized

It's so nice!!

On Sunday (20 March 2011), my parents and my younger brother and I went to Jack's Place at:
Bras Basah Complex

I ordered a Fire Steak! And I liked it! hehehe =b

It was supposed to be poured with some brandy, then the staff was supposed to lit fire on the steak so it'd look cool. But too bad, it all happened, just wasn't done on the table right in front of me.

The staff just did it at the side and only served the fire steak to me after the small fire went dead.

But what I was 'a little bit' disappointed at was that they didn't even ask me to watch!!

It just so happened that I was looking at the staff when he happened to lit the fire to the steak. Else I wouldn't even have been able to differentiate the fire steak with a normal blackpepper steak!

So sad! My thinking is that, if I paid some money to order a fire steak, the least you could do is to ask me to watch when you're about to lit some fire on the steak (even when you're unable to put it in front of me [maybe for some safety reasons]).

I have always loved Ajisen Ramen!! Especially the Volcano Ramen!! I like it spicy!! I like it hot!!

For lunch today, Yuliana (my best friend in the world) and I ate at Ajisen Ramen at Tampines Mall:

Yummy!! I loved it!!

The cuttlefish side dish was also nice!! I always order the cuttlefish side dish whenever I eat at Ajisen Ramen XD






And.. For today.. I tried something I have never tried before in Ajisen Ramen. I tried the green tea ice cream pancake.





Hmm.. The price per one piece is SG$4.80. For me, it's rather expensive for such a simple piece of desert to be priced at $4.80. However, it really looks interesting (from the menu picture) and I've always wanted to try it since I first saw it (in the menu) a long time ago.

And, because we ordered a Volcano Ramen set, we could get the ice cream pancake at $3.80 only ($1.00 off the original price). Yuli suggested I ordered it, rather than me always wondering what it tastes like.

It has two flavours, red bean and green tea. And I ordered the green tea one.

Ok! Ordered it! Tasted it! It tasted...... ok lah.. It's tasty.. But I still think it's too overpriced.

For trying-a-new-dessert sake, it's worth it. But for ordering again next time. I don't think it's worth it. Hmm..

So my younger brother ordered Pizza Hut's pizzas last night while we were watching tv..

Well, when I was taking out a piece of that pizza from the box to my plate. I felt something strange! And when I looked at the bottom of the pizza dough, eeww!!

It looked so scary!! I was speechless when I first saw it.

Well, even though it looked scary. I ate it anyway. Hehehe... =b

hahaha XD
I don't know whether to call this day a funny day, or a sad day, or what..
But it's definitely funny..!!

So I had luch with Qq.. We at first (before lunch) talked about how bored we were eating roughly the same things in Dhoby Ghaut area. So she suggested we had our lunch near Raffless MRT Station (near our office).

So off we went. To Raffless MRT Station, in search of a new place for us to have our lunch.

Turned out!!

It was so full of people there!! The place was so damn packed we ended out eating at Yoshinoya at Chevron House:

Hell! If we wanted to eat at Yoshinoya, we could have gone to Plaza Singapura at Dhoby Ghaut. And we were eating it at Chevron House?!

Hahaha XD

Well, I ordered a Teriyaki Chicken Bowl though.

I changed the white rice to brown rice (an extra SG$0.50 charge). The meal was ok, I was never really fond of Yoshinoya. But overall it was ok lah.. hehehe... =b

I have nothing to do right now. So I thought I might as well upload a photo of my gel manicure which I did a few weeks back. You know, before I do another manicure probably next week. Because I quite like this gel manicure.

I think it's simple but sweet. Hmm..
My friend, Rin, kept telling me not to do gel manicure. She said it's not good for our nails.

Well, I don't know a lot about gel manicures. Because I don't usually do gel manicures. I usually only do french manicures or classic manicures. I've never even done express manicures (I think it's a waste of money doing express manicures because for me it's just spending money to get my nails polished without them being cleaned thoroughly).

Well, back to the main topic. Well, I don't know a lot about gel manicures, whether or not it'll hurt my nails is still unclear to me (hmm.. I'll google it later). In fact, this is only my second gel manicures in my life. Hahaha...

But I really like it. For me, it lasts longer. Hey, if I'm going to spend money to do manicures, I might as well do one that lasts long.

I'm quite a clumsy girl. Usually when I do classic, it will usually last less than a week!

So, the main poin is, I think I'll probably do gel manicure often, so it'll last longer. And I should probably google later to see if it's really not good for nails. Haha..!!

So happy!! Today my friend, Rin, came to office bringing everyone a cookie! I also got one! hehe..

The cookie was also tasty! She's so sweet. But she aahh.. grr!! I don't know whether or not to scold her or what. She's sick, and she is flying to Jakarta on Monday (14 Mar). Why isn't she resting?! Haiyoh!

But anyway, she's so sweet for bringing us cookies. hehehe...

Today really is Burger King Day in Singapore. Look at the promotion:

The promotion is for today only (10 March 2011). Tendergrill Chicken burger is only priced at SGD 1.00.
Crazy cheap!!

So my colleagues and I went to Plaza Singapura Burger King during our work lunch time to buy the $1.00 burger.

Isn't crazy?! Lucky we could find some seats for us to have lunch there, else we'd have to buy takeaway and find a place to eat somewhere else. Hahaha...!!!

yay!! I'm so happy..!!
My application for my dad's Long Term Visit Pass has been approved..!!
I've made the necessary payment ($90.00), now all that's left are.... well, there're still a lot more things to be done.

I don't want to jinx it, but I hope everything will be okay. :-)

Well, even though now it's only approved in principle, but hey, getting it approved by ICA means winning half of the battle already. I'm just so happy!

I'm so glad I can get both my mom and my dad a Long Term Visit Pass in Singapore. I hope they'll be proud of me!

hehehe... =b

This is a key chain.
My boyfriend and I had it made during our Chinese New Year Bali Trip 1 Feb 2011 - 5 Feb 2011.
It's so sweet, isn't it? We bought two, at a crazy cheap price as well! Two same key chains were priced at Rp. 10,000.00 only, which is less than SG$2.00! Haha..!!

In addition, the Bali Trip was amazing!
It was with my family (mom, dad, younger brother), Bally (my boyfriend), my aunt and my uncle.

We went to a lot of beautful places in Bali:
- Pura Luhur Uluwatu
- Teras Padi Cafe @ Tegalalang (love the lemongrass tea!! two thumbs up!!)
- Bedugul (Pura Ulun Danu Bratan)
and lots more!

Anyway, it was really an amazing trip and I certainly hope I can go there again some time in the future (with my boyfriend, of course).

hehehe... =b

I had a great meal at Hard Rock Cafe Singapore the other day. It was on Sunday, 27 February 2011 (if I remember correctly). It's located at:

I went there with Yuliana, my best friend. We ordered a Trio Hickory Smoked Bar-B-Que Combo and a Hard Rock Nachos. The BBQ Ribs was delicious! and the Hard Rock Nachos was, simply put, perfection! It was tasty, really. Too bad we didn't add on the Grilled Fajita Beef because we were too full.

I don't remember exactly what drinks we ordered, but it can be seen from the picture above. I remember one of the drinks was called "Mango Tango". If I remember correctly, it was the yellow one. Yuliana loved the yellow colour drink, which tasted sour (which I hated). I, on the other hand, loved the red colour drink, which tasted really sweet (which Yuliana hated). Hahaha...
